Tamara Smirnova was born in 1990 in Crimea, in Ukraine. She takes her first vocal lessons at the age of 12 at the music school of Scholkino. Two years later, as she’s gone to the Kerch’s music school, she begins the opera. At the age of 16, she enters the Katerina Mamschur’s class at the music school Reinhold Glier Kyiv.

She learns then for a year in the Jewdokiya Kolesnik’s class at the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine where she produces herself as Mimi in “La Bohème” from Puccini or Euridice in “Orfeo ed Euridice” from Gluck.

In 2012 she appears in the TV-show “Stars in the Opera” with the pop-star Stas Pjecha as musical partner.
In 2013, she enters the Geert Smits’s class at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater from Hambourg.

Tamara Smyrnova gets her Bachelor two years later and is actually working for her Master specialized in the Opera.
