Sabine Weyer was born in 1988 in Luxembourg. She starts her piano studies at the age of 7 at the Conservatory of her hometown. Since 2007, she has studied with prof. Alexandar Madzar at the Flemish Conservatory in Brussels for the Masters Degree and Postgraduate Degree (2013).
Sabine Weyer recently appeared as a soloist during festivals such as the Wagner-Verdi-Liszt festival in the Teatro San Carlos in Lisbon and at the Teatro Academico Gil Vicente in Coimbra and Castle of Ursel (Antwerp, Belgium). She often performs in concerts in Luxembourg, Belgium, France, Italy, the UK, Portugal and Germany as a soloist and in different chamber music groups. In May 2014, Sabine Weyer has toured in China, performing in Shanghai Concert Hall and various other venues with a Brahms programme. In March 2015, Sabine has won the 1st Prize of “Grand Prize Virtuoso Competition” and has performed at London’s Royal Albert Hall. She has also been invited in various radio programmes in Luxemburg, Belgium and France.
Sabine Weyer’s first CD dedicated to RAMEAU and DEBUSSY, recorded in Vienna’s Konzerthaus, will be released on record label ORLANDO RECORDS in fall 2015. The Premiere took place at Luxemburg Philharmonie the 26th of october 2015 (with the precious support of “Solistes Européens Luxembourg”).
International promotion of this CD includes concerts in Vienna, Berlin, London, Edinburgh and Paris (salle Cortot oct 11th).
