Diana Adamyan was born in Yerevan, Armenia in 2000, into a family of musicians. Her father, Hakob Adamyan, and mother, Nune Antashyan are violinist of the National Chamber Orchestra of Armenia.

Diana Adamyan began her studies at Yerevan Tchaikovsky Special Music School with a famous Armenian professor of violin Petros Haykazyan. Since February 2014 she studied with Professor Hrachya Harutyunyan (Germany) till July 2015. Since October 2015 she studies with Professor Eduard Tadevosyan.

From December 5 to 15, 2015 she participated in the 9th Tchaikovsky International Competition for Young Musicians and was awarded the Second Prize and Silver medal.

In August 2015 she appeared in the tour of the Armenian National Chamber Orchestra as a soloist over France and Switzerland with 5 concerts.

On July 21 within the framework Yerevan Perspectives International Festival dedicated to the 100th commemoration of the Armenian Genocide she performed in London Cadogan Hall together with Pinchas Zuckerman with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra having performed J.S. Bach double concerto for two violins and orchestra.

From June 4 to 25 Diana Adamyan for the second time participated in the Summer Music Institute master-classes in Ottawa, Canada under guidance of Maestro Pinchas Zukerman.

On December 25 2014 Diana Adamyan was awarded the 1st Prize at the International Violin Competition-Festival dedicated to 100th Anniversary of Art-Worker Emeritus of Armenia Professor Hrachya Boghdanyan.

On October 2 2014 she participated in the NAC Gala Concert in Ottawa. She has been invited to participate in the NAC School also in June 2015 and was awarded there with the appreciation award.

In September 2014 she appeared five times as soloist with the National Chamber Orchestra of Armenia in France and Switzerland.

From June 5 to 26 2014 she participated in the Summer Music Institute master-classes in Ottawa, Canada under guidance of Maestro Pinchas Zukerman being invited by him personally.

In December 2013 she received a valuable master-class from a world-known violinist Pinchas Zukerman.

In November 2013 she appeared in concert with Amabilis Chamber Orchestra in Switzerland.

In October 2013 Diana Adamyan appeared with solo recital in Boston and received master-class from a well-known violin professor Donald Weilerstein (New England Conservatory).

On June 1, 2013 Diana Adamyan was invited to perform in “Moscow Invites Friends” International Music Festival having appeared with solo recital at Moscow House of Music.

In November 2012 Diana Adamyan was awarded a Silver Prize at Nutcracker 13th International Television Contest for Young Musicians held in Moscow, Russia.

In June 2012 she performed with the National Chamber Orchestra of Armenia in Teheran, Iran.

In 2010 she is a First Prize holder at Veratsnund 2nd International Competition Festival in Gyumri, Armenia.

In 2007 she has become a laureate of Spendiaryan 2nd National Competition Festival in Yerevan.

Since 2007 she is appearing with solo recitals.

Diana was a participant of “New Names Armenia” program, and held scholarship from Vladimir Spivakov International Benevolent Foundation. In 2012 she was supported by the Armenian General Benevolent Union and is continuously supported YerazArt Foundation (Boston, USA).

She is inspired mostly by David Oistrakh, Itzhak Perlman and Vladimir Horovits. Currently she plays Urs Machler violin.
